Internet Explorer 6 houdt de toekomst tegen.

IE6 is de last van elke web ontwikkelaar. IE6, verschenen in 2001, slaagt er niet eens in om CSS 1.0 goed te ondersteunen, een webstandaard uit 1996.

Het ondersteunen van IE6 belemmert ons om nieuwe coole functies te gebruiken, die standaard goed werken in nieuwe browsers. Dit is een nadeel voor de gebruikerservaring van iedereen. De workarrounds en hacks die web ontwikkelaars moeten gebruiken om IE6 te kunnen ondersteunen, verslechteren de website en zorgen er bovendien voor dat de voortgang traag verloopt. Al met al is het gewoon een verspilling van een miljoen uur aan werk.

Help ons het web te bevrijden van IE6!

@DanielaTCh si estas de afan podes usar Artisteer, genera de una vez el CSS para ie6 y ie7 que son los que mas joden. #Recomendado >>

@daelan Not personally, but the statistics are there, how many people do you know that still use IE6? Yet the % is still ~6.7% (dropping). >>
